Matt Shelton is the owner and sole attorney at Shelton Law P.C.

Matt is originally from Chattanooga, TN, and attended the University of Tennessee - Knoxville where he studied Supply Chain Management and Finance, earning his Bachelors in three years. During his time in Knoxville, Matt gained valuable business experience working in operations for the University’s Sustainability department, and gained experience in managing a distribution center for a large roofing supply distributor.

Matt attended Indiana University - Maurer School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctorate. He participated in Moot Court, the Business and Law Society, and was a Michael Flannery Family Office Fellow. Matt gained valuable legal experience with two family office investment firms. Matt also worked at a local legal clinic in Bloomington, assisting the community with a variety of legal matters including landlord-tenant disputes, lease review, expungements, small claims matters, and protection orders.

Matt was admitted to practice law before the Indiana Supreme Court in 2025. He currently serves as in-house counsel and manager to a real estate developer in Fishers, IN, while also serving clients at his law practice, Shelton Law P.C.

Matt founded Shelton Law P.C. shortly after being barred with the mission to provide high quality legal services with transparency and integrity to Indiana residents and businesses. Matt enjoys connecting with clients and assisting them through the difficult challenges they face.

In his free time, Matt enjoys playing chess, golfing, fishing, exercising, and spending time with his family and friends.
