Matt Shelton is originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, where he was raised and grew up. Matt attended the University of Tennessee - Knoxville where he studied Supply Chain Management and Finance, earning his Bachelor’s Degree in three years. Matt then attended Indiana University - Maurer School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctorate. He participated in Moot Court and the Business and Law Society. Matt gained valuable legal experience with two family office investment firms. Matt also worked at a local legal clinic in Bloomington, IN assisting the community with a variety of legal matters including landlord-tenant disputes, lease review, expungements, small claims matters, and protection orders. After law school, Matt worked for a real estate developer handling business and real estate legal needs.

Matt founded Shelton Law P.C. with the mission to provide high quality legal services with transparency and integrity to Indiana residents and businesses. Matt enjoys connecting with clients and assisting them through the challenges they face.

In his free time, Matt enjoys playing chess, golfing, fishing, exercising, and spending time with his family and friends.
